As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my primary goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients.  I believe that each client is unique and I take the time to get to know their strengths, interests, and beliefs.  I understand how stress and trauma can have a dramatic effect on the body and mind. This is why I believe it is important to take a trauma informed approach when working with all clients.  Through the process of talk therapy, I work to increase client’s awareness of their own emotions and help them learn safe ways to express their thoughts, feelings, and needs.
