You may feel that you can’t talk to friends and family about what is going on for you emotionally. Or you may feel stuck and unable to move forward toward the change you want for yourself or family. Therapy can be a big step toward feeling less alone and getting back on track. It can be short term to give you a boost or last over a longer period of time if needed.

I have more than 12 years of experience working with adults, families and children and am trained in a variety of therapies. On your journey toward wellness, I aim to work with you in finding the best way to help you achieve your counseling goals. I am trained in working with children and adults who have experienced acute and chronic trauma particularly in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

When working with children and teenagers, I use therapy that is appropriate for their development often through the use of creative arts. I have worked with parents in a supportive role as well as an educational one through the Triple P Parenting program, a program which has been internationally evidenced to make a difference for struggling parents.
